As of Monday this week, the CE markings regulation has changed, something we all need to be aware of within the construction industry.
The European Construction Products Directive, which aimed to remove technical barriers to the trade of construction products was fully replaced by the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) on the 1st July.
Requirements of the CPR will apply when products are placed on the market in the UK after 1st July so a construction product will need to be CE marked and accompanied by a declaration of performance (DoP) if it is to be placed on the market in the European Economic Area and is covered by a harmonized European product standard.
Magnet Trade works for you and we want to make sure you have all the information you need, at your fingertips. We’re putting a system in place where you can search our site to find the relevant DoP for whatever products you’re looking for, or looking to purchase. Just watch this space, but in the meantime drop us a line if you need any further information… email@example.com
