St. Andrew's House Ipswich

Barnes Construction on behalf of M & D Developments, refurbished a derelict four storey office building into 55 stunning new apartments. Based in Ipswich’s city centre the social housing build has created 35 one-bedroom and 17 two-bedroom flats together with three wheelchair apartments.

Over the six month project Magnet CKS created a total of 33 kitchen designs with three to four variations. They fitted Tatton Oak kitchens, with Everest worktops, Bar handles, 3 part bins and 170d hinges. The Project Design Manager Lawrance Devon, worked closely with the Colchester store to deliver this project with a high standard. They provided a provided a quick turnaround on all aspects of the project from design, to measurement to delivery. This hard work was recognised by Matthew Ramplin, Senior Site Manager;

‘ Lawrence was fantastic from initial contact to site survey and production of drawings, along with contact throughout the install, the Colchester branch delivered the kitchen as promised and on time to all 55 units’

‘ Magnets were chosen on the price but also consideration was made with regards to our on-going working relationship’

This project marks the start of a long lasting relationship with Barnes Constructions which will result in more work coming Magnets way in the near future.
