15 easy steps to avoid folding under the pressure

Our fitted folding doors are a 'must have' for home improvers who want fabulous full length picture window views and glorious wide open access to the patio and garden. Simply follow our professional step-by-step guide for easy installation and superb results.

Frame Pack Components

Lay frame pack components in an area free of obstructions and clear of the ground. Note that all our folding doors are supplied pre-drilled and factory finished - no routing or cutting needed on site.

Screw frame

Drill, silicone seal and screw frame components together.

Fit the opening

Ensure aperture and frame are square when fitting into the opening.

Check when installing

Check the frame for twist, plum and level when installing.

Fix the frame

Fix the frame through the head into the supporting building lintel using the appropriate size of screws.

Ensure stability

Fix through the jambs and cill, again with appripriate fixings to ensure stability and squareness of the frame.

Fit the hinges

Fix the relevant hinges onto the pre-routered hinge positions.

Fix door

Fix door 1 in position.

Height setting

Adjust to correct height setting.

Fix door 2

Fix the middle door (door 2) into the bottom runner and engage the fixing into the top track.

Fit door 2 hinges

Fix door 2 to the hinge in the top tracking.

Fix door 1 to door 2

From the outside, fix door 1 to door 2.

Fix locks to door 3

Fix the handle and locking mechanism to door 3.

Fit door 3 to door 2

Fix door 3 to door 2.

Complete installation

Fix the gaskets. Your installation is complete and the doors are ready to use
