To make the most of wood’s sustainability, all softwoods used in Magnet Trade windows are from Forest Stewardship Council-approved sources.
What FSC approval means
The FSC promotes responsible and sustainable stewardship of the world’s forests in environmental, social and economic terms. Sustainability is defined by the United Nations as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to be able to meet their needs”. With this in mind, we use only timber from suppliers who harvest and replant trees in line with the FSC’s recommended procedures. We never forget that the future of our industry and the health of our planet depend on the continuing existence of the world’s forests complete with their wildlife and sources of water.
